Zuvo water filter replacement

I have a Hangrohe beverage filter with a zuvo filter and Zuvo is out of business so I have not been able to find any replacement filters. Is there anyone that knows where I might get one or if there is a filter replacement that will work in the zuvo.

Two ideas: Contact Hangrohe and ask who else makes a compatible filter, and / or Google the Zuvo part number (should be stamped on the filter), and see what replaces it.

    Thanks tried both already.

So basically, we have to throw away the unit and buy something else. That just seems wrong. Hard to believe consumers can be left stuck like that.

    Anybody find any replacement filters?

any luck finding things that can be used as replacements keeping the same hansgrohe hardware? i give up on the zuvo replacements, but at least don't want to replace the top-of-sink portion of things...

The faucet should work with any filtration system that uses tubing inlet/outlet. It's just a vented faucet.

I guess I'm glad mine lasted this long .. But what a rude awakening go to order a filter and find business gone...

If your filter isn't replaced regularly (every six month) it's no longer a filter - it's a bacterial breeding ground.

Nobody said I didn't change the filter..My bulk supply of filters is finally gone and light burned out..

Hoping someone has info on this ... or at least a replacement system that can work with the Hansgrohe faucet. I love the faucet and it matches everything else, but my last filter is long past replacement date and I need to address it. Wonder how many units are out there - certainly looks like there is a market for compatible replacement filters.

Thanks, browne3. I know Zuvo is no more - just seems like some other company could manufacture a filter with the same dimensions. I would appreciate it very much if you could post if you find a successful alternative - I like the looks of the Hansgrohe, and given the depth of our sink, it's going to be a bear to remove the faucet that is in place.

I have that same issue..with our old farmhouse sink..it being a very deep double sink makes the changing of faucet's very difficult...What systems has everyone gone with...

I have made my zuvo system work. A friend gave me all his spares (3 zuvo systems) and I had a spare of my own. I used an old filter, but cut away huge amounts of the filter so that it simply is a mechanical/physical support for the lid to be able to fasten down. (4 large cut-outs). Then after (downstream from) the zuvo filter added another carbon filter in a whole house canister. All the zuvo replaceable filter is, is a coconut carbon block. So, the water goes thru' the uv light and the vortex, thru the huge gaps in the old carbon zuvo filter at the top, into the whole house canister and it's carbon block filter and then out of the drinking water spigot at the side of the sink!

You don't have to use a whole house canister, but their replacement blocks are usually cheaper, and easier to work with. In terms of capacity the whole house filters are a bit over the top, you'll never over use them in even 6 months, unless you are watering a herd of camels!

The uv lights should last a long time, they can last hundreds of hours. We just fill glass bottles every other day. So the lamp is used about 20 min or less 3/4 times a week. It's more likely the switch will fail before the lamp burns out.

Would u mind to explain how you tricked the unit to think its filter was good? my unit has been beeping every time i turn the water on and I have no clue how it can detect that the water filter is old. Thanks
