Do they tend only to raise more roots for Octopus but not a real expose thing? I have 3 cross coming from Dino

The cutting is to produce the 'Centipede Roots'. The trees then have some roots removed to balance and this is called 'Decorated Roots'. The purpose for this is so that they can raise the tree and expose roots. The are placed in a fashion for later raising.

The Virgin Roots (Natural Roots) are what most of the Thai people desire. There are some really ugly looking root trained trees, from it not being done properly.
