Dark floor colors appear to be in style. I personally love your floor and hate all the trim and ceiling wood. That's why they make 50 shades of everything because we are all so different. I inherited my first house and it had that trim, the painters shed blood, sweat and tears to get it painted over for me. Good luck it's a gorgeous room.

You have such beautiful floors! I would say have them refinished because they look to be in great shape. Rugs would also help define the spaces and tone down the orange hues.

I too, think your floors look great. Have you ever lived through having hardwood floors refinished? Not fun.

I agree with belle but I think part of the problem is the yellow cast from the ceiling
