I need help on a 2 story entry way wall space

Its a blank canvas now I was thinking a tapestry. I don't like 2 story entry ways and I ended up with one.AHHHHHHHHH. I have a window on one side I will never be able to get to a full two story wall and then the stairway is opposite the 2 story wall. On the opposite side of the window shelf above the door I have a half wall above the entrance into the Great Room. I will post pictures tomorrow
