Former "lurker" to new member :)

Hello everyone. New hoya lover here. Forgive me if this question has already been asked, but I was curious where the best/inexpensive place to purchase cuttings and/or plants? I have been stalking the big box stores recently, but have only had luck with a variegated Hindu rope. Money is tight right now, but hopefully in the future when I am able to purchase more, I'd love to have your opinions on where to look. I really appreciate it! Thanks for taking the time to read this. ☺

I sell cuttings and rooted plants, mostly more common stuff, and mostly to newbies since I don't have rare stuff to offer. Not that I don't GROW rarer ones, but by the time they're big enough to offer, they aren't rare anymore! LOL!

Welcome, Savannah! The box stores can either be hit or miss for Hoyas, but when you find the ones you want, it makes a good day even better :). There are many fellow Hoya friends on here who are willing to share cuttings and advice. Been here for 7 years and they have been happy ones!

Welcome to the party Savannah!

Check your locally owned florists, once in awhile you may find one there. Most of my own have came from the web, many from this very site. I have bought cuttings from Denise and some other members. All were lovely and have been great growers for me. I didn't check that link ( I start a new job next week and really need to NOT be reminded where I can source awesome plants, ha!) , but I know everyone likes cowboyxflowerman on eBay, SRQ Hoya and Gardino's are probably the best online stores I know of.

The Violet Barn sells some really interesting varieties of hoya. They sell primarily African violets, but I got my Royal Hawaiian Purple hoya there. I won't say that they're cheap, but they have lots of different kinds. Something to keep in mind when you want something special!
