Aerogarden seed starter question

Hi all,
I have an Aerogarden LED ultra that I use for starting seeds. This year I got the plastic seed starter kit, since there was a lot I did not like about the styrofoam.
I'm about to start and just realized there's no place to add water. The top is completely sealed with no ports or flaps. I could water through a seed pod I guess.
Anyone else have this and have any ideas?
