I received a suggestion of UBA Tuba, I think it will be very similar in overall look. How do you handle wood floors in a working kitchen. As a contractor I am always worried that we will have to go back and refinish the floors yearly, ware and tare is something I always consider.

UBA Tuba would be less expensive than a honed product. As for the wood floors that is always a consideration, but we make sure the client knows what to expect. In addition, certain woods are harder than other others and will wear better. Any good hardwood flooring rep should be able to explain all the differences in species.
