Go dark since your floor is light-need some contrast. Plus, the darker top has lots of colors you can pull for the walls.

I also like the darker countertop and would keep my floors and walls a lighter color so that the countertops and the dark cabinets pop!

I like the lighter one in the first photo, but am a bit confused as to what's shown in the later photos -- not sure that the lighter (somewhat golden) counter would work well with the pinks in whatever is shown in the last photo.

personal preference, I like the light one. The busy-ness of the dark one would drive me crazy.

Go with a light quartz rather than granite. Be sure to install under cainet LED lighting.

It depends on your long-term taste. I think the darker stone is quite beautiful in this picture. The light colored one doesn't catch my eye. However-darker stone is busy. I can tolerate it long term, but can you? Also, floor dependent. If pre-existing, go with the stone that best suits both cabinets & floors.

Lighter! I went darker and regret it. I think the lighter one looks more modern.

I think the darker sample looks far nicer.
