try typing 'modern wood bedroom' in the houzz and google search boxes. you'll see some pretty sleek spaces. my favorite ones are those that have wood on fewer than all 4 walls, bringing in some white sheetrock walls really keeps things from getting too woodsy-overload.

I live in Washington State now, but my family has a house on Ninigret as well, where I spent every summer of my childhood. Such a small world! Would love to ask more questions but not sure public message board is the place to do it and I can't figure out how to send you a private message!
