But what I see from the picture, it needs fertilizer and maybe more water. Buy some palm and cycad fertilizer and give it a good amount of water. (But not too much!)

Okay.I tried to reply last night.First off wish I had some close up pics.It looks like it is growing in a pot.At first glace I thought manganese problem.Then I looked at it thought I saw some sign of scale.It has not been moved from a shady spot and put in sun has it?Possible burn.If not & no sign of scale then it is a manganese issue.

Thank you!! So this weekend I added some (about a third of a handfull) of palm fertilizer. It is potted (I will try to post pics from my phone) and has not been recently moved. The wall behind it is west facing so get A LOT of sun. I water it at least every other day so I doubt is needs more water, but I could be wrong. So how do I remedy the potential "manganese" issue? and what is it? THanks in advance.!

Manganese is a mineral.There's probably trace elements in the palm fertilizer.Most box stores sell just it.Plus you may want to either put in ground or pot up a size.Remember it is a cycad not a palm.

Just looks like sun damage or physical damage to me.
