More 10" planks :-) These are Quarter Sawn White Oak.

10 inch is so beautiful but what do you do about the gaps in the winter time? Are they not so bad? I worry about the dimensional stability but love the wider floors.

The gaps typically close back up during the summer time. Quarter Sawn is also less likely to move than plain/flat sawn.

Are these live sawn? I like the rift sawn, but there is such a difference in price. Was thinking of mixing the two. Planning to buy unfinished and finish on site. Any suggestions? Also how do you finish so the live pattern does now show so much? I was leaning walnut stain and wax finish.

Yes they are live sawn. Finished on site would be ideal. The stain and finish can't really hide the grain. Minwax's Special Walnut is very popular right now, over White Oak it would look great.
