I own a small townhome and the color of the front door is set by the HOA, so I can't change the exterior color of the door. But I was wondering, would I be totally insane to paint the inside portion of the front door a different color? The door is currently medium/dark brown. The inside of the home tends to be southwestern colors (a lot of cream with some pops of orange and turquoise), the floors are wood and the stair risers are Mexican tile. I'd like to add a splash of color to the door. Thought and ideas would be much appreciated.
