Thanks Gonzer...just to update. I was going to put a big clump of Aechmea pineliana minuta on the Yucca. No more plant crotches to use...so I went primitive with a nail...it bent downwards from the weight...I added a second nail..same thing. So,I found a gutter nail- a big 6" nail. Well,after many scratches and a few collapses,I gave up. Yucca guatamalensis "wood" is more pulp than wood. I also could see that- no matter how many nails..one cat jumping on it and all would be knocked down. Yucca is the anti oak of woods.

Would have looked great since that brom grows in full sun here easily- turning neon pink too in summer.

What a magnificent old Cereus. You see on the net wild cacti with Tillandsia's on them.

I tried Spanish moss on Euphorbia ammak. Not too good- the moss in the rain got heavy and fell off. Some is left...the rest I put back on a nail they had been growing on before in my backyard. Not natural but it worked.

Just a nice update- you see that dwarf Neo on the tree? Today I could see a few of those hanging pups had in the warm and rains of April attached to the side of the trunk. Cool to see that natural attachment instead of the usual,me tying a plant here or there.
