Thank you for your question. So this front entrance (although it may appear otherwise) is actually quite simple. The door is on the far left. To give you some scale, the door is 8' tall by 8' wide! It pivots on a hinge that is located roughly 1/3 of way down the door to make opening and closing easier (you don't feel like you are pushing the full weight of the door, rather about half of the door). The rounded pop-out you see is an architectural solution to adding a coat closet to such an expansive and great entrance! This way we could create a very untraditional entrance with a non-traditional and unique way to hang guests' coats without stuffing them in another room or behind a closet door.
