Tall blossoms standing upright?

is it normal for the first blossoms to rise so tall above the leaves? And the blossom opened 3 days ago and it's still standing upright/sideways, is that a sign of a problem or does it appear healthy? Five of my "babies" are all budding right now for the first time, I'm so excited!!

Looks like one happy blooming plant to me! Except for one minor detail. See the leaf that "lifted" up on the front of the pix? You can turn that side to the window. And you can gently slide the new blossom out from under it.

Look at the plant in the background of the photo. See that leaf "lifting" also? It is a simple matter of turning the plants around so they get equal light! Otherwise everything looks great to me!

But there is never a problem with a flower stem standing straight up!!! It is a good thing! And very pretty plants also! Rosie
