About to refinish a fibercast concrete outdoor firepit, I am new to this, but from what I researched online, I plan to do the following (any comments/advice greatly appreciated):
-Sand/strip entire old surface down w/ palm sander/dremel tools
-Once smooth and ready for void filling I planned to use Epoxy/Resin to fill those voids (I see there is also a paste style... anyone know which is better for this purpose?)
-Sand excess hardened expoxy/resin to a smooth exterior shape, and wipe down with acetone
-Spray with charcoal colour fire retardant paint (also unsure about this part...)
