Which light for kitchen island/dining table?

I plan to hang two (of the same) light in line above my kitchen island and attached dining table. My dining table has not be installed yet, but check out a similar layout I found here on house. My kitchen is the one without countertops. We plan install a glass railing with powder coated metal poles in room as well as a dining table with a metal base. I am having a terrible time choosing between these two fixtures. Please help me decide.

Your kitchen is coming along beautifully but you need something edgy and the drum shade is starting to look like it's been around too long.

Have fun with your backsplash too - what were you thinking of putting in? A mosaic with pink glass would look awesome!

"Va en gustos personales" the clasic more formal type of decoration the drum one offers against the more contemporary and maybe more versatile option of the traslucent globes

Thanks for the comments. My husband and I are doing it all ourselves, so it's been a labor of love. With that said, we are on a major budget so we went with super cheap mosaic from Costco plus 3in * 6in glass tiles.
