I moved an old farmhouse 25 miles from its home about 17 years ago and have been working on it ever since (it's not quick and easy like you see on tv when there is just one person working on it on off-days from the paying job!). I originally did the bathroom, tile and all, white. Mistake!! The grout on the floor turns the color of dirt. I again remodeled the bathroom last year and now it suits the ranch life, dirt and all, with large porcelain slate tiles, dark woods and a dark granite countertop & bowl sinks.
