I'm considering getting an induction range. One of the factors that will affect my decision is whether my current set of SS pots will work with induction. I have a set of Paderno Fusion5 pots: https://paderno.com/shop/category/fusion-5/. They are made with 18/10 SS. Magnets don't stick to the bottom yet the description on Paderno's website says these pots are "induction compatible".

Does a pot have to pass the "magnet test" to be induction compatible?
