Your plan is very difficult to read, but I can tell enough to answer your question. I think moving the MW drawer would work well. Trash should be to the left of the sink (as you face it) or under the sink. You don't seem to have a nice stretch of counter for a prep space--where do you plan to prep?

You're welcome. In that case, I would switch the DW and trash pull-out, so that the DW is not between the sink and fridge. If you happen to have the DW open during your prepping, you won't need to close it to step over and take something from the fridge.

You can have a cutting board made to fit over the sink, to increase the amount of prep space. I'm sorry to say this, since it appears to be too late, but you have such a nice sized kitchen, and you'll be prepping in a tiny 25 inches.

Is there a second island? Maybe you can move the main sink and DW there and have a prep sink in the island closer to the range.

Edit: Sorry, missed the part about water lines already in place. Maybe a pullout cutting board to increase your prep space.

I think your right Ill switch the dishwasher and trash. Ill move the microwave to the second island closer to the fridge.

The fold-down cutting board Sena suggested is a great idea to increase counter space. You have a lot of base cabinets--could you incorporate something like this mobile cart, and pull it out when you need more prep space?

Also, from the drawing it appears that you are planning door bases. Have you thought about using more drawer bases?

What are the distances b/w the range and the first island and b/w the 2 islands?

In the drawing it seems like there is more b/w the range and the sink than b/w the islands. If you have more than 48" b/w the range and the sink and if plumbing permits you can consider moving that island closer to the range, because

1- a wider aisle may attract more traffic from DR to the fridge to pass in your working zone and

2- you'll have to carry heavy/hot pots for a longer distance.
