Maple Seed Germination

Hi guys
Do hope you are all fine
Just an enquiry about Maple seeds I have had in cells over the winter
A few hundred in fact...
I removed one of the seeds from one of the cells and there was nothing to be seen of the seed.
No sprouting or any indication of growth
Is it a little early for there to be any growth or should I be worried ????
I know the success percentage ratio can be low.
I am hopeful of some success in Germination......
Any advice would be hugely appreciated as always

Hi Stephen, mine were soaked for 24 hrs and the floating discarded.

In the fridge from mid Dec. Started sprouting mid February.

The ones burried outside when I checked had already very long radicles.

For your climate it mihgt be too early but check more of the seeds
