I've never used coir before but I would like to try it this spring when repotting some Hoyas. I can get 5 of the 650 gram bricks Denise uses for $30. delivered (I think that's a pretty good deal). Is there a way to break a brick in half if I don't have a need to use the entire brick? Or should I make the whole brick and just store what I don't use in a sealed bucket? Or I guess another option would be to buy 250 gram bricks (of which I need to shop around for a good deal on that size)
