It is carpet tile, and it is great to pick colors and design for space. We have covered patio, and it minimizes sun fading the colors. For the non-covered patio, you can expect the sun to fade the colors of the carpet tile. The cool thing about carpet tile is you can hose it down with water to clean and let it dry.
