Need help to chase away squirrels from my bird feeders

Warblers, family of cardinals, lot of blue jays and one black small bird with a long tail are coming to my four feeders hung in trees. However, three destructive and hungry squirrels keep eating the seeds and chasing way the small birds. I changed the time of my feeding and put small amount of seeds, yet the squirrels keep coming and eating... They broke completely one of my meshed feeder .... Help please !

I had my husband build this to keep the squirrels away from my feeders. Works but you have to now feed the squirrels and the birds. Worth it. You can also purchase these online on Amazon I believe.

Squirrels on bird feeders is an age-old problem. You need to purchase squirrel-proof feeders (I have some that work great) or install squirrel baffles above and/or below the feeders. Google squirrel-proof and squirrel baffles.

Yes, baffles work wonderfully. They are best on poles that are placed in an open area where squirrels can't jump onto the feeder from a tree.

Switch to safflower seed. Squirrels just don't like it.
