My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Nobody's Perfect...

For the last 6 months I have painstakingly put our kitchen together from start to finish. We used our countertop granite for the backsplash. When the granite was installed I realized the last piece I had to install, the faucet, the handle would hit the granite. Oh well, I just turned the faucet a little when I installed it. I am now officially retired as a DIY'er. Good luck to everyone with your projects.....

      You need something stronger than Coors Light after doing such a great DIY job! :) Only you will know about the faucet, I wouldn't worry about it...

      That looks a lot like my Kohler Vinnata faucet - if it is, you can turn it so that the control handle is toward the front, which turns out to be great placement because you don't splash water all over the counter when you turn it on and off, and you can use either hand (I have a righty and lefty in the family). Great job on the kitchen - it looks fantastic!! :)

      Thanks everyone, I just turned the faucet a little and it works and looks great. What a relief it is to finish a kitchen. It is a Kohler faucet, the Artifacts collection.
