Water this catasetum or no?

Hi guys,

I just bought a very small Fdk After Dark catasetum, but it oddly still has it's leaves at this time in the year and hasn't started going into dormancy yet. I read that some people force their catasetinae into dormancy by not watering them. Anyone have experience doing it? Photos of it below - it came a little banged up, but otherwise only one leaf tip is turning yellow, the rest are still perfectly green. Should I continue to water or no?
