Here is sort of the look with the rug and garden stools I had in mind but without the coffee table. Just the stools as tables. You also need lighting. A floor lamp on the left, or an arc lamp would be good. I also like this floor lamp for you for the left side of the sectional.

I myself think a rug would help also maybe some wall decor? Bring some character into your room.

Cut the tags off of your pillows :) Do you have pets? I have found it is best to pick your rug based on the color of your pets! For instance, I have a white lab, so I got a light blue rug from Safaveih and his hairs blend right in in between vaccuuming!

I would get rid of the sofas and include one cream sofa to make it look more spacious. Also, a coffee table will do to make your room more modernized. Try including some paintings to make it stand out a bit more.

I agree that if you have pets especially if they are indoor pets that you should choose colors that will mesh well with your pets.

If you need functionality of a coffee table get those under the couch tables like this. Those would go by that corner seat since I’m sure no one uses that anyways!

And I agree with everyone about some art above the couch!
