This is my first DR. Picked it up at Walmart. Wish I had found this forum earlier. Well I got DR home and put it in the morning sun. Bad mistake but a good one too. Bad sunburn. Good found this forum. Started reading and found out I had sunburn the DR. Removed from the sun. Cut 90% of the bad leaves off. The DR is in a 5 inch pot. I did not know if it was dormant it still had leaves. It came out of the pot really easy. This is when I found out that it is in 100% coco coir. Drier than dry. Then I put 1 Oz of water on the out side edge of the pot.did not want to get the caudex wet. The caudex is firm. One week later 2 Oz water. Started moving the pot 1\ 4 of inch in to direct sunlight every 3 days. Now I have about 15 new leaves. The DR is now in direct sunlight. Now one of the questions that I have is. How much longer should I wait to repot in gritty mix. I have gritty mix ready. Could you please tell me what kind of DR that I have. This is the greatest forum ever. Any comments would be highly appreciated. Good or bad.
