Kitchen pipes

I removed a wall and gutted my kitchen only to find pipes that can't be moved (previously there was drywall covering the pipes which meant my kitchen started 6inches away from the wall on the right). Would it be odd to build a 15 X 15 beam in that corner so that the cabinets will sit flush against the beam or should I build back the wall (which would mean my kitchen would have a 6 inch wall on the side of the right wall). Both not great options. Thoughts?
