Will this work for 8 ft ceilings?

I have a dining room with 8 ft ceilings and I really want to install this chandelier, but I can only do so with the base and 1 link. Will it still look good?
For some perspective, I have light gray walls, a grey-dark brown dining table, black round back chairs with beige upholstery and two host wingback chairs in the same beige uplhostery.
