Pruning laterals young apple tree.

10 years ago

I have a 3 yr old goldrush that I am going to prune. I have 3 sets of scaffold developed on the tree, but I am not sure if or how mych I should prune the scaffold branches. Should these ever get pruned at the terminal end? I am also wondering how much of secondary lateral branches should get pruned.
