Hi lecolley. Great questions. We don't know much about this home because we were hired to take photographs because the house was for sale. This was a very large room, so the benches at the end of the beds were part of the designers design. But just like putting a bench at the foot of a master bedroom bed that was the idea here. The area up top actually isn't a bed. It is a loft to play in.
