This is one of those unfortunate instances where we find answers to be quite complicated, and / or are lacking information. However all questions deserve answers so we will do our best. These walls were hand finished by using a plaster that was applied and manipulated with a cactus ear thats texture and natural juices creates a reaction that yields a subtle yet complex variated finish. The finish is also nearly as smooth as a silk, We often call it the silken cucina. The images do not do the finish justice, in fact you are the first to have had an eye that has picked up on the its significance. Great job! Short of hunting down the artisans in Puebla, Mexico, the nearest effect we have found to be similar is a Venetian plaster that is applied with good quality smooth metal trowels. The trowels are used once again by rubbing the metal trowel on the dry plaster to achieve a desired sheen and that silken texture. Finally the plaster is coated with a bees wax product, that is most commonly used to care for some antique furniture or pieces that call for such care.
