TV Feature Wall advice

Hi all,

I've got a grey stone wall tile I'm going to install on our tv wall to make it into a bit more of a feature wall. It should give the wall some great texture, but I've got two issues in my mind which I want to resolve before starting

1) Should I just tile the wall or should I do the sides into the window recesses as well? I can't decide what will look better, I'm not planning on doing the wall to the side of the of the tv and under the windows where the radiators are. and I'm wondering if it will look funny.

2) it's a concrete wall, so without cutting out a channel for the cables and lengthening the hours for the job, does anyone have any other solutions of how to hide the cables better.

You might want to think about a wood panel framed out with thin sides. Tile is quite a commitment.

thanks mate, but I'm committed tiles are already purchased and here. they're a grey stone wall type thing which I think will look great, just not sure about going around the corner towards the windows or not.

Just the front, not around the corners. Will you post a photo of the tile please?

it's fairly thin/light stuff. there is a corner version of this tile available but I'm not sure about a rounded corner, might be a bit bulky, and meeting two tiles on the corner will either have to be bevelled or overlapping which if there was some strong direction to do so I could do, but I'm not sure about the finish.

Looking at the space around you TV and the windows, I would say to NOT tile into the recesses. You might also consider finishing the top of the tiles in line with the top of the windows.
