Starting shade loving plants under lights

I posted this in the shade gardening forum but didn't get any response... I'm planning to start some coleus and pink polka dot hypoestes soon. These plants prefer partial shade, so should I adjust the timer on my lights for these? Most of my other starts are flowers or veggies that require 12-16 hours of light. I can isolate one light for the shade plants if needed, but am not sure if this is necessary.

Eventually these plants will be set outside in a shady location or used as houseplants.
