The
Wisconsin Illinois Lily Society will hold its first informational Lily
presentation of the year this weekend! It is scheduled for Sunday, March 13th,
at 2:00 PM, at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Glencoe,
Illinois. Jerry Nelson is the featured guest speaker and the topic is
“Companion Plants for Your Lilies” which should be an interesting and
informative topic. Jerry is a noted horticulturist, garden designer, and former
radio garden show host in Wisconsin.

Open to the public, we welcome newbies or veteran gardeners to join us and
learn more about how easy and rewarding it is to grow lilies. Bring along any
interested friends, family or neighbors too!

Should you enjoy the presentation and decide to join our fun and friendly group, you will be
able to join (or renew) at the talk: just bring a check made payable to the
Wisconsin Illinois Lily Society ($10 for 1 year / $25 for 3 year renewal).
