How to re-create this floor (pics attached)

Hi all!
I'm looking to install new tile flooring in my kitchen and enclosed balcony/sun porch (I live in a mid-century modern condo). I love a slate-look, but prefer porcelain for cleaning/upkeep reasons (though I'm open to other recommendations). Really wanting floors that look just like these pictures; if you have suggestions for a specific tile product that will help me achieve a similar look, I'd love to hear them!! Thanks in advance.

What's the problem with slate? We had slate in our center hall (the most heavily trafficked floor in the house) for the 20 years we lived there, it was already 30 years old when we moved in. I never noticed any cleaning/upkeep issues. In our next place I used slate in the mudroom, again no issues.

Tall order. Perhaps someone who follows stone and tile can suggest some products for you.

In the past, there was available a product called Barre Slate by the Kentile company. It was a solid vinyl product that was very realistic looking. Also, we had available large sheets of solid vinyl in stone and slate looks that could be cut and fashioned to look like the real thing. You might be able to find such a product still out there or possibly the same thing in slab rubber.

Were you to find a slab vinyl or rubber in the right look, it could be cut and fashioned in the sizes you'd want and then grouted with an epoxy grout (same as you would with tile), I have done such a thing and the results were incredible.

How do you clean the slate, do you have a product you prefer?

I had a slate floor in my sunroom in my last house. It was indestructible and it cleaned up easily with soap and water. I would pick a slate over porcelain tile any day.

What would you recommend for a bathroom? Slate or slate look porcelain? We have slate in entryways and love it.

Everstone seems to have a product called Durastone that has a "rockface" finish...its a porcelain tile that looks like slate. Seems to be offered in a variety of sizes. I am wondering if that would be better in a bathroom than real stone?
