Easter basket of mini roses

Trader Joe's had Easter baskets of mini roses today. There are two separate small pots in the basket. I counted 6 plants total for $5.99. They were so pretty and such a deal, I couldn't help but put them into my shopping cart.

Now to figure out their identity. They are Parade roses by Poulsen Roser A/S. I think the lavender one is Lamy, but what about the apricot one with the pink outer petals?

Perhaps it is Cecile? But mine seems to be a brighter color.

Oh wow, that's fantastic!!! Congrats :-)

The top one is Gigi, which you knew.

I believe the bottom one is Dora, a.k.a. Poulpar071. I checked the Poulsen Roser A/S website and Dora is grown in the United States (not all their roses are), including Rocket Farms that sells to Trader Joe's and other markets. See more info about the rose here: Dora on Poulsen Roser A/S.

Oh thank you for that info. I'd like to have names for my flowers. Not a big deal but would like to know. Especially if I want more! lol :) I love the colors you got. I may have to go to the other Trader Joe's in town and see if they have any. :)

You are welcome. I like figuring out there names too. I don't like how my apricot one is aging after only a few days. Most of these grocery store minis have blooms that look great on the bush for an incredibly long time. The lavender one looks very nice still, so I don't regret buying the basket. But I will give the apricot one away.

The rose I want to find next is Renata. Here's a link to Dan's photos of his: Dan's Renata. I've seen it in person and regret not buying it. It was a medium shell pink and there is a note on Help Me Find that the blooms last a long time. I'm waiting for the Vons floral manager to call me when it comes in. The hunt is half the fun :-)

I'm really tempted to run over to Trader Joe's! Maybe it's a good thing it's not that close or convienent.

Neither of the Trader Joe's in my area are close or convenient. I went anyway lol Thinking of going to the other one to see what they have. :D

I gave the apricot mini rose to a friend that was visiting my garden. She only has one other mini rose, so she was delighted. It had some buds waiting to open. I still have the lavender Lamy and it is doing well.

Hi everyone.I agree Renata is amazing very beautiful shell pink mini. Im also on mission to find her here in South west Texas. So far no luck. Any info will be highly appreciated.
