My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Fire place? Kitchen width?

Hi

I am curious to know did the fireplace already exist ? we have the back side of the fireplace in my narrow 60's ranch house and really struggling with what to do with in. My kitchen is 12' wide very narrow we are more than likely going to expand it and go for it to some degree -thank you

    Thanks for the question! The architect on this project placed the fireplace. We believe it was just facing one way and was opened up on the kitchen side. Black Rock designed the kitchen and installed the cabinetry and counter tops as well as the stone cladding on the fireplace. We love the way it turned out! It sounds like you may have some good options with your project to open up your space. A fireplace is such a warming touch to any room and is fairly unique in a kitchen. Perhaps you could open yours up on both sides as well.
