Quickfire Hydrangea Questions

last modified: 10 years ago

Hi, I'm in zone 6 and thinking about putting a Quickfire hydrangea in
full sun...first off, do any of you in my zone grow this in full
sun...if so, how does it do? I don't want to fry it. I do have a drip
line hose on the area, so it will get plenty of water.
Also, how many feet can I expect this to grow per year? I dont know if
it grows slowly to its 6 to 8 feet or just a couple of feet per
year..etc. I ask because I want to plant some thing around it if it is
going to take a while to get full grown.
thanks for any help. It will be placed in the middle of this bed. This end of bed is 8 ft wide and 7 ft deep. Ignore all the little pots, I changed my mind on that plan. :)
