We were considering replacing our counter top in the kitchen and we thought we would replace the current over the top sink with an under mount sink. Our contractor, who's giving us the estimate initially said he could do it but now say's that, 'it's tricky with a laminate counter top as they have to finish the hole for the sink. ' He's asking us to reconsider our decision and not have an under mount sink. We did like the fact that we could wipe liquids or wash down the counter and squeezee the water into the sink, with an unde mount sink. Any suggestions or alternative thoughts.
