I hope I can fix this issue for good. I got this DR about 3 years ago as a seedling. It's been doing okay, other than growing a bit leggy because I can't stand to cut the branches . A few months ago we had some really strong winds and unfortunately one of the branches got bent really far back and started to shrivel in the middle, which started to go further down the branch and then spread into the branch it was growing from. At this point, of course I was dealing with rot so I cut the rotten part off. Everything seemed to be going good since I cut the rotten part off. The cut seemed to have dried we'll, and I started to see bulging below the cut like new growth was forming. But then a few days ago the sprinklers came on and the plant got wet, and now it looks like it's rotting again. I included photos so hopefully someone can tell me if I need to cut this off again.
