Teenager I got

so I finally go my babies. Very happy with the sizes. But a bit concern about the centers.

I called and my supplier assured me that I have nothing to worry about, she said the heat was a problem and other stuff but she is willing to replace any or all if necessary.

I checked the media and decided to just insert wicks which I did using only one ply of yarn.

I mixed a bit of Newmectin which is a systemic miticide and place in the wicking containers which I will change in about a week. This I did for safety reasons.

I am hoping all will go well and they will be happy. I will also be repotting in a few months.

Oh I forgot, I will be putting down leaves from each when I get home from work tonight. Except cool mint which is the smallest. Gotta protect the momma. Velleta

Velleta, what a treasure chest of varieties you got. I'm so happy for you. I'm also glad you posted pictures because I have never seen your idea for reservoirs & they are fantastic & colorful ! I'm going to take an older 7"ish Rubbermaid container & cut 4 holes to supply wicking for my smaller 2 1/2" cups. Was this your idea or one you adopted as I will now? Enjoy your new crew, Trudy

Hi Tudy, well it's all my idea, I realize that four of my small cups could fit perfectly on my plastic containers so I just cut the hole and all done.

It also helps to save space and since I finally figure out that wicking gives me much better results I wick EVERYTHING even when I put down a leaf.

As for the colours well when I went to purchase the container they did not have enough of one colour so I just had fun and though they would add variety. I am sort of childish at heart.:) velleta
