I started a remodel on my laundry room. But I have an issue, there is a window 18 inches from the back wall on the far wall. The room is 12 feet by 5.5 feet. The washer and dryer sit at the far end of the room. I wanted to put a surround over the washer and dryer but they sit over 30 inches from the wall and that window is only 18.
The reason for the surround is hiding the hoses see in the picture. (sorry laundry is never done with children) and i don't think it looks right to only have a an 18 inch surround. when the cabinet (24 inch deep) and the pedestals are deeper (30 inches)

I also want the washer raised so not having to bend over so much. my other issue is.. see the next picture below

I tried to find the wide flat solid vent to run along the back wall but the only thing i found was a periscope style and i need to go around a corner and such.
