Some pics would e good and never choose wall color before counter and backsplash are chosen.

If you do a google image search of "oak cabinets" you will see lots of pictures which might help. Are you looking at laminate, quartz, granite or something else? I have oak cabinets and light creamy beige walls. I just ordered this quartz which is a little creamier and warmer than some, and has just a hint of beige. There are many similar quartz out there. I only have one window, and I wanted to keep it light. Also, since oak grain has movement, I wanted to keep the movement in my countertop a bit muted compared to some of the other quartz and granites that are very pretty, but also have lots of movement. If you do get a countertop with movement, keep the backsplash simple.

Others go with black or brownish granite or quartz, which can be richer, but darker - so many possibilities.
