I like it. The only possible issue is the inability to put something where the door slides on the wall.

I love a sliding door and I want one for my bathroom as well. My bathroom door swings inside and since it's a very small space, you feel all squished up when standing in front of the sink since the door is right behind you.

Looks like it's increased the light and space in the bathroom. Been thinking about that type of door for ours for the same reasons.

We just installed a modern barn door in a newly converted, 3/4 bath to laundry room. To take care of privacy issues be sure your door is wide enough to completely cover the opening. I wouldn't worry about the light, our last house had a large master with no door and we survived even when our schedules weren't exactly in sync.

thank you Darzy the area where the door is going has a bed night stand in front of it, so that was why we decided have the door open to the lfet

nnigrt you are correct about all three (3) comments. However, in a small condo or in a place with limited space, it serves as a space saver. We mapped out this room prior and we could not place anything on that wall due to the bed and night stand. at the end of the day you install what the your Clients wants.

tooky58 the lighting was an issue to our client, that is why we selected the three glass panel door, also, for it's modern look.

kktandem yes, we made sure it over lapped an inch on each size; great catch! it is important for people to know that.

nnigrt that is why we suggested the three panel with the wide style, one for looks, but importantly for sturdiness and weight for the door slides. we did suggest trim behind the door to help with gaps, but again the client did not want it. overall, our client is happy and we just got hired back to do the kitchen. Win! Win! for all of us!
