I just stumbled across some very bold and graphic art (on Houzz, of course!) that can be ordered in lots of different sizes. I'm not yet skilled enough to post a link on Houzz, but if you google Go Wild Art, and look through the pics, you will see some vignettes that are very modern and look fabulous with oversized prints. I personally love the one with chickens, but there are lots to choose from. Good luck, your room already looks pretty fabulous!

I think a very large bold piece of abstract art or even animal art would be nice.

The first two prints are separate & not meant to be viewed as though the birds are attacking the city. hahahah

With your super clean palette, you could just buy the right size stretched canvas and spray paint it high-gloss white. One large piece will keep your space grounded. If you really want a gallery wall you could spray paint some interesting picture frames without any pictures and hang the frames but I think that might be too busy for your restrained aesthetic.

When people suggest "large" art, how large are we talking? I have a similar tall wall and nothing non-textile seems big enough.

About 3' x 4', either direction should do it. Too big and the fireplace, which is the main focal point, will look puny.

I think you should look for a diptych which is two panels of a painting together. Not sure what colors you want but I gave you some slightly neutral colored ones. If you are looking for abstract art feel free to check out my profile these are #25 and #132

I collect Hermes scarves. One day I hope to do a giant wall of them. Framed of course in an interesting way. Color will really pop against your grey background.
