Please help!

I've been struggling to figure out a proper and ascetically pleasing way to store my shoes and clothes.

Anyone have any suggestions... I'm currently trying to downsize my items but like most people am having a hard time parting with things. I currently have a double door closet in the entry way of my master bedroom (closet pictured) the closet is about 7ftw and fairly tall with two shelfs and one 6ft clothing rack. I'm currently storing some shoes and bags on both racks in closet and have bins with more shoes on floor. I also have an additional shoe storage tower in my bedroom that must go.. And an additional clothing rack, that I would also like gone . I'm open to the possibility of adding a wardrobe into the space.

Going more into the shoe dilemma: I have quite the collection of high heels. I have not been able to keep all the boxes and a lot of traditional shoe storage systems seem to be built for shoes with less height. Many of my heels are 4in+++ and quite a few are boots or bootie type shoes. I would like to design my space where the shoes and clothes are not visible in my bedroom. I've included pictures of my current rather unappealing set up. Moreover, I'd like my clothing/shoes etc. to be accessible but more of a silent partner in the design of the room.

Any and all ideas and suggestions are appreciated! Also looking for paint ideas and general design ideas.
Just moved in so I recognize some art is needed. Just looking for the right pieces.

In closet remove existing wire shelving rod combo. Remove wire shelf above. Hang two wood rods (one high, one low) cut to length to go from one closet wall to the other to take full advantage of width. If you want a section for long coats/dresses, if you're not handy, hire a carpenter to instal a vertical piece of 3/4 ply with finished sides and add edge finish and paint. That vertical piece can create a narrower section with single rid hung high for long pieces and a double rod wider section for blouses, trousers, jackets etc. That will double your closet space. I'd remove the multiple small storage containers and small furniture pieces in the room and add one two larger pieces to store the rest of your stuff. With clothes hung on closet those larger in-room pieces do not need depth and can hold shoes and other stuff without taking up floor space.

If you do hire a carpenter you could have a built-in shelving unit done that mimics a library wall of shelving but instead of books, your shoes will live there. The depth would be nominal because of shoe space needed. If you wanted to use rattan type blinds or fabric shades or other inside mount window coverings (instead of drapery) a wall of shoe shelving could take advantage of space that flanks the windows, including even above the windows for less frequently worn but attractive shoes. With this storage solution you are playing up shoe storage and creating a display of an extensive high heel collection. And you certainly wouldn't be displaying well used and rugged hiking boots in this set-up. Those could go under the bed.
