You can expect the flower to die and start to stink. If you can stand that you will then get long leaves. Eventually all the greenery will die down. After that I have no idea since I always plant forced hyacinths out into the garden. In order for them to reflower they need a period of cold so I don't hold out much hope of reblooming in your kitchen. And if yours was bought in a pot the compost will have little nutritional value for building up the bulb.

Cold is relative. I very much doubt your kitchen is between 2 and 7 degrees c for 11 - 14 weeks. I know this is an experiment but if you want a reliable flower next year the garden is the place for your bulb.
