Looks more like a marble than quartzite. Some slab yards don't exactly tell the truth about that either. Better test it yourself with a lemon slice.

Chess - your counters are beautiful! Is the gray counter a quartzite or something else? Live Wire- good point! I have read all the threads on quartzite, and I won't buy if I cannot test. (Do you think anyone would notice a lemon in my pocket at the stoneyard. LOL)

another vote for the LG rococo quartz....i love mine. no lemons needed.

Never assume that a natural stone on line will look anything like it in person each slab is different and really waht difference does it make if you like it wheter it is marble or quartzite which IMO you could not tell from a pic. online. I love the quartz from Cambria for this application to be honest.

Pretty, Classic, Go with it. It looks completely different when it is horizontal. (rather than the view you get at the granite place). Appreciate the beauty of the stone and embrace it! You won't be sorry.

I didn’t. Instead I got a different quartzite. Still has lots of movement but not like the toblerone. It was originally labeled as a sea pearl, but the stone company renamed the remaining slabs after I bought it (literallyspotted it as it came off the truck to their warehouse). Arctic something or other. It has been absolutely bullet proof, but I did test it (there’s a whole thread somewhere on Houzz on how to test whether a quartzite is really a quartzite or whether it might really be a marble).
